Is your pressure transducer malfunctioning after a short period of time?  A faulty pressure transducer not only can cause frustration and wasted time, but can also lead to unnecessary costs.

In the recycling process, extruders are fed with multiple grades of plastic waste filled with contaminants. These contaminants may wear out the diaphragm of the pressure transducer within a few months as compared to with virgin material.

Dynisco pressure sensors are designed to withstand these environments, and provide many years of reliable service.
 

Different diaphragm material and coating available

• 15-5 PH Stainless steel with Dymax ® coating –  Our standard diaphragm provides durability with abrasion resistance, standard on most sensor models.
• Hastelloy – Provides corrosion resistance, not recommended for prolonged use in high temperatures.
• Inconel 718 – Provides abrasionand corrosion resistance, recommended for use in temperatures up to 750 degrees F or higher.
• Borofuse- Best abrasion resistance coating available, can only be used on Inconel
• Titanium Nitride – Abrasion and adhesion resisitance, can be used on most diaphragm materials.
• Titanium Aluminum Nitride- Enhanced abrasion and adhesion resistance, standard on Dynisco Echo sensors (inconel diaphragm material)
   

Thickness of the Diaphragm

We have diaphragm with different thickness for different pressure range, providing you with a reliable and long-lasting pressure sensor without compromising on the accuracy of the pressure transducer.
